The Pandemic caused a uprooting of parenting styles that has transformed the way families function for years to come. The need for parents in today’s society has been tried and tested in away that civilizations for years to come will look to the year of 2020 as model of resilience, transitions and transparency in the field of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS). Think about your own family and how your parents, your children and those in around you had to quickly change the way their household chores, daily duties and ways of living changed in part because parenting became a clear necessity in part because the world’s children could not go to school in a normal way that impacted all sectors of the economy, the households. schools and the family as the center of structure in SYSTEMS THEORETICAL TERMS. Parenting became the “new normal” and teachers suddenly were valued a price beyond measure. Of course, children were impacted, but stayed the course despite their worlds turned upside down due to the Pandemic, the world Shut Downs and the brink of an international collapse in ways even economists had not predicted.
