NoteStore provides digital academic resources to support learning, revision, research and independent study. This Fair Use Policy explains how those materials should be used responsibly and with respect for academic integrity and intellectual property.
1. Use resources for learning
Notes, study guides, examples, research materials and other digital resources are intended to help you understand subjects, explore ideas, prepare for assessments and improve your academic skills. They should complement your own reading, research and coursework rather than replace them.
2. Keep submitted work original
You are responsible for producing your own assessed work. Do not submit a downloaded NoteStore resource, or substantial portions of it, as if you created it yourself. Follow the academic-integrity rules of your school, college or university.
3. Respect copyright
Do not reproduce, resell, publicly upload, redistribute or commercially exploit purchased digital resources unless you have the necessary permission or the applicable product licence expressly allows it.
4. Use sources responsibly
When a resource points you toward books, articles, websites, datasets or other sources, review those sources yourself and cite them according to the requirements of your institution or publication. Do not assume that a resource is a substitute for checking the original source.
5. No academic misconduct
NoteStore should not be used to facilitate plagiarism, impersonation, unauthorised collaboration, examination misconduct, falsification of data or other forms of academic dishonesty. You remain responsible for how you use any material obtained from the website.
6. Personal use and sharing
Unless a product page or licence states otherwise, purchased resources are for your personal educational use. Please do not share account credentials or distribute files through public websites, messaging groups, file-sharing services or other channels.
7. Questions about permitted use
If you are unsure whether a particular use is permitted, contact support@notestore.net before distributing or publishing the material.
